A role within Corporate Security means protecting our Target community by managing physical security risks that have the potential to impact our team members, guests, and operations. The Lead Specialist, Corporate Security & Safety is accountable for guiding daily security operations and ensuring consistent execution across all posts at Target’s corporate locations. This role focuses on directing shift activities, coordinating incident response, and maintaining strong communication during daily operations. The Lead Specialist helps ensure operations run smoothly and that issues are addressed quickly to support safe and uninterrupted business operations.
Guide daily security operations, ensuring all posts and routines are executed consistently and effectively.
Coordinate on-shift incident response, providing direction and support to team members.
Monitor execution of security routines and address gaps in consistency or adherence to procedures.
Communicate real-time updates and key information to leaders and partners during incidents or operational issues.
Support shift coverage and operational adjustments to maintain consistent security presence.
Provide guidance and feedback to team members to improve execution and consistency.
Serve as a primary point of contact for on-shift operational and system-related issues.
Additional job duties as required by evolving business needs.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
