About Position / Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer Lead to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed to deliver scalable and high-quality Salesforce applications.

This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related Salesforce platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, review code and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations) and deliver value incrementally.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, release procedures and security policies.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize Salesforce processes and enhance system performance.
  • Oversee integration efforts with other enterprise systems such as ERP, marketing automation, and data warehouses.
  • Coordinate with Salesforce administrators, developers and release managers to plan and sequence implementations to avoid deployment conflicts and dependencies across teams.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Foster a collaborative and agile development environment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Proven experience of 9+ years in Salesforce development with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Prior experience leading development teams or projects.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and CPQ.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and declarative tools.
  • Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding data analytics and reporting tools like Tableau and CRM Analytics.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
