What you will do

As part of the PGIM Private Credit Information Technology & Services team, we support PGIM Private Credit with both vendor and internally designed applications, processes and reporting.  We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on technologist with a strong background in designing and building modular, scalable, and intuitive systems using various technologies to support our platform modernization efforts. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership and innovation. Your knowledge in emerging trends and practices will evoke stimulating discussions around optimization and change to help keep our competitive edge. What you can expect

  • Create, enhance, and support internally developed applications that support Private Credit’s overall investment process by providing the capability to capture key information, enable workflows and approvals, and expose data through reporting and analytics tools.
  • Be part of a team that works with Business Analysts, Investment Professionals, Operations, Quality Assurance Testers and other System Professionals.
  • Provide comprehensive consultation on all phases of the project development cycle, work closely with other members of the development team, help translate business requirements into technical solutions, and assist with identifying and steering the direction and selection of platforms, languages, and tools. 
  • Create generic, reusable code stacks when appropriate and/or integrate purchased solutions.    
  • Document, Unit test, and provide on-going support for the applications. 
  • Work closely with management to help formulate strategic architectural decisions which will support current and future business needs, and influence the technical direction of system implementations.   
  • Knowledge of design patterns, best practices, and Software Development Lifecycle is required. 
  • In addition to deep technical expertise, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong desire to new tools and technology and an inclusive attitude.

What you will bring

  • Extensive experience working on the development of cloud based microservices applications.
  • Strong experience in various supporting technologies: C# .NET, ASP, WebApi, REACT.
  • Build and containerize applications using Docker, following best practices for image size, security, and maintainability.
  • Deploy and manage workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including Helm charts, YAML manifests, and cluster configuration.
  • Develop scalable data solutions leveraging Azure SQL Database for relational workloads.
  • Design and optimize solutions with Cosmos DB, including partitioning strategies, throughput management, and consistency models.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services, using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and container logging.
  • Integrate Azure services (Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage Accounts, API Management).
  • Apply cloud architecture best practices—high availability, security, resilience, cost optimization.
  • Implement robust security patterns, including Azure AD authentication, managed identities, secrets management, and network controls.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable deployment and platform governance.
  • Write automated tests (unit, integration, containerized test suites) and participate in code reviews.
  • Document application architecture, APIs, deployment processes, and operational runbooks.
  • Knowledge of development methodologies Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in developing workflow in CI/CD orchestration tools (GitHub Actions).
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
