Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all production activities to ensure that the pro-
duction of goods and/or services meets volume, quality, and cost requirements within
the established timeframe in an efficient manner.
4. Job Duties and General Responsibilities
· Manage, through subordinate supervisors, all production activities applying
knowledge of plant layout and production capabilities of each department.
· Be directly responsible for the production program and efficiency levels, ensur-
ing compliance with quality requirements and controlling scrap levels.
· Formulate, negotiate, and manage departmental objectives and budgets, as
well as strategies and action plans to achieve them.
· Validate and authorize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to pro-
duction activities.
· Promote and maintain effective interdepartmental collaboration and communi-
cation.
· Perform personnel evaluations and implement disciplinary actions when re-
quired.
· Participate in identifying training needs for personnel under their responsibility.
5. Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Technical degree, high school diploma, or equivalent may be considered depending on experience.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Languages: English: Not required.
