Lead Graphic Specialist
The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for setting the visual and interactive design direction for marketing and Member communications. Combines expert‑level graphic design, digital design, and UI/UX to create engaging, high‑impact solutions. Establishes design governance, mentors designers, influences creative processes, and ensures all deliverables support organizational goals, audience needs, and measurable business outcomes.
- Defines and leads the visual and interactive strategy for marketing campaigns, web experiences, branch screens, and digital assets.
- Translates strategic objectives into UI/UX solutions that drive measurable business outcomes, using data and insights to refine creative direction.
- Establishes and refines design standards, templates, processes, and tools to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Leads creative ideation and concept development across campaigns and channels.
- Mentors and coaches designers, raising overall creative capability and design thinking.
- Manages and oversees external creative resources including agencies, freelancers, and vendors.
- Partners with leadership on planning, intake prioritization, and resource alignment for creative initiatives.
- Stays ahead of emerging design trends, technologies, and tools, introducing innovations that elevate user experience and marketing ROI.

- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 7-10 years of prior relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Advanced UI/UX design expertise, including responsive design and accessibility.
- Strong understanding of performance‑driven creative and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to establish and govern brand systems and creative standards.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication across technical and non‑technical partners.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop design talent.
