The Opportunity

The Lead Flight Supervisor will be responsible for the daily management and oversight of the Flight Supervisor on Duty role, providing support to safe and orderly ERAU Flight Operations. Responsibilities may include: 
- Efficiently communicate and provide operations expertise to the Flight Operations Manager, Flight Chair, the Chief Instructor, and Director of Mx
- Monitoring pilot qualifications and currencies to match the specific operation and regulatory requirements
- Coordinating aircraft diversions and recoveries
- Initiate company emergency notification protocol
- Ensure the safe and orderly process of flight operations as a representative of the Flight Operations Manager
- Provide advisory information regarding weather and operational considerations for in-flight decision-making, in accordance with the Embry Riddle Flight Operation Manual

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor; Capable of Flight Supervisor duties
• Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.
