Lead Business Execution Consultant- CRA

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Consumer Risk Program Office, Data Quality & Standards team. Responsible for data quality and CRA data integrity, the Lead Business Execution Consultant will partner with Business Groups, Enterprise Functions, and Independent Risk Management, and provide subject matter expertise on CRA requirements. Key responsibilities include strengthening risk controls, managing documentation and regulatory exam support, identifying process improvements, and guiding less experienced Strategy and Execution staff. The role requires strong judgment in complex environments, deep knowledge of CRA regulations and qualifying activities, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.


In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with other CRP Risk Program team members, Business groups and Enterprise Functions, Independent Risk Management to execute CRP program requirements.
  • Develop and manage relationships with Business groups and stakeholders, while offering subject matter expertise and providing guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate and consult with Business Execution team members and leaders to influence and guide less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies, including strengthening the control environment, responding to audits and testing engagements, cross-training, and improving processes.
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Review and validate samples to confirm they meet regulatory requirements; monitor, track, document, and share review results with management, control and IRM partners.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • CRA experience with comprehensive understanding of activities that qualify for CRA, especially regarding community development, including loans, investments, contributions and service reviews


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing relationships, managing change, and adapting to evolving regulatory and organizational environments.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Experience reviewing data elements for accuracy and documentation that support the CRA justification.
  • Proactive in achieving results with consistent data integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing impact metrics, program reports, and performance insights.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and present to diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently and stay aligned to critical path deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, and familiarity with Artificial Intelligence solutions

Candidate will be expected to work onsite at one of the stated locations listed in the job posting on a hybrid schedule.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
