Lead Business Analyst
Overview
The Corporate Treasury team is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and operational enablement of settlement services across Mastercard’s core network. This role will work closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners to analyze requirements, coordinate projects, and support the implementation of settlement-related capabilities.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across business, product, and technology teams.
Role
In this position, you will:
• Support the analysis, design, and implementation of enhancements to settlement services and related Treasury capabilities.
• Collaborate with business units and the Network Product team to gather requirements, evaluate operational impacts, and support delivery of new or improved settlement processes.
• Conduct financial, operational, regulatory, customer, and system impact analysis.
• Prepare materials and insights for leadership review, ensuring clear communication of findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure requirements are documented, understood, and properly implemented.
• Assist in identifying risks, potential impacts, and mitigation strategies related to settlement services.
• Manage assigned projects and workstreams, including planning, tracking progress, maintaining documentation, managing dependencies, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and according to scope.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships and act as a dependable Treasury partner across projects and initiatives.

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in financial services, banking, payments, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex issues.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects or product initiatives.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements or actionable tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
• Experience with payment systems, settlement processes, or Treasury operations.
• Familiarity with systems implementation and business analysis
• Interest in growing into a subject-matter expert in settlement operations and treasury capabilities.
