Key Responsibilities
Supports process flow visibility/dashboards and the capture/analysis of process metrics and system runtime health.
Supports/owns the execution of risk and/or valuation models including the management of inputs, processing, and outputs (results) based on risk and reporting requirements. Requests technical environments and monitors processing logs. Maintains documentation for risk processes at the Ameriprise product/LOB level.
Prepares spreadsheets and other related reports based on model results (output) and internal client requirements. Manage various inputs and generate extracts for the corporate model.
Supports input, spreadsheet, and model validation control activities. Supports the testing of model and process changes as needed by corporate model and actuarial teams.
Collaborate with different teams in completing the task and understand the need arises.
Should have a good command of verbal and written communication and keen to learn new technologies.
Should be able to proceed with self-learning opportunities related to systems/tools used by the team with minimal guidance.
Should be able to work effectively and make sure the results are accurate and thoroughly reviewed before sharing it with business partners.
Should be able to maintain the documentation and make sure quality is maintained throughout.
Execute and understand the basic software applications or programs used to assist in the execution of risk and/or valuation models.
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of related experience in data management and reporting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
Understanding of VBA, Excel, Power BI.
Understanding of Python and SQL.
Understanding of basic finance structures and terminologies.
Strong logical, analytical and abstract thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
