How you can help make a better world of work

The Lead Automation Engineer is the technical architect of our internal efficiency. You will lead a small, high-impact team of two engineers to move our business beyond static integrations and into the era of agentic workflows. While we maintain a robust AWS serverless foundation, you will be a "power user" of our agentic AI platforms, building intelligent agents that act as a multiplier for our workforce.

As part of this team of amazing humans,

You will

  • Automate, automate, automate: Automate key business processes, creating internal efficiency through impactful workflows across core systems of record
  • Design Solutions: Lead the design and deployment of intelligent agents, transforming how the business interacts with internal data
  • Own the roadmap: Define when to build custom Python/AWS Serverless solutions for unique differentiators and when to leverage iPaaS for speed and scale
  • Partner with the Business: Collaborate directly with internal business units to identify "untapped" automation opportunities, acting as a consultant rather than just a technical resource.
  • Lead a CoE: Establish high-bar standards for documentation, security, and observability across all automated workflows. Guide incident response and root-cause analysis; turn learnings into durable improvements.
  • Develop Talent: Mentor and manage a team of two engineers, conducting code reviews and providing the technical "air cover" needed for them to grow and innovate. Write clear docs, samples, and runbooks that make integrations dependable and repeatable.

You have

  • Extensive experience in Software or Integration Engineering: With a proven track record of designing complex, reliable systems.
  • Mastery of Python & AWS Serverless: Deep hands-on experience with Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge to build event-driven architectures.
  • SaaS Ecosystem Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of Enterprise software (eg Salesforce, NetSuite, and Slack) APIs, including a strong grasp of their schemas and rate limits. Deep experience with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and webhooks.
  • Agentic Power-User Skills: Experience (or a deep technical interest) in Prompt Engineering, function calling, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) within enterprise AI platforms.

You are

  • A Strategic Partner: You focus on the outcome for the stakeholder, not just the output of the code.
  • Composed Leader: Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; calm leadership during ambiguity or high pressure.
  • Tool-Agnostic: You have the maturity to choose a "low-code" or "no-code" solution if it’s the right move for the business, saving custom dev for the hardest problems.
  • An Intelligent Systems Evangelist: You are excited about the shift from "moving data" to "building agents" and can articulate that vision to non-technical peers.
  • Operational-Minded: You believe that an automation isn't finished until it is documented, monitored, and resilient enough to "fail gracefully.".

We believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our success. We're committed to fostering a work environment that truly cares for and develops its people, and creates lasting positive impact. In addition to providing a competitive compensation package, some of the key benefits we offer are:
