Lead Analyst, IT Manufacturing / Quality

Summary:

This position is responsible for support and implementation of all IT solutions in the global manufacturing and quality management environment, leading the technical design and development of application solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Providing the highest level of expertise for complex solution design, development and testing involving the integration of multiple products, processes, or systems into complete business solutions. Works closely with multiple teams, business analysts, IT team members, and other staff to understand business and IT requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the implementation of Quality management and LIMS system integration solutions projects.
  • Responsible for coordinating application development, integration, and maintenance working collaboratively with the Solution Architect, Engineering Leaders, Implementation Partners, and key business stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development of the Digital Strategy/Smart Plant initiatives to drive Momentive’s global business strategy.
  • Directly responsible for End to End (development & integration) QA of all assigned change and development requests.
  • Support business teams in all questions around business systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Provide operational and strategic support to Momentive’s global Quality Management and LIMS and related systems working with a global IT team.
  • Act as both a subject matter expert and an internal consultant within the business, helping to facilitate the use of technology as a tool for process improvement.  Manage change within affected processes and stakeholder groups through process mapping, proofs of concept, demonstrations, and testing.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing innovative solutions, collaborating with business partners across functions, and delivering within a change management process.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Manufacturing and Quality management experience with Application management, such as LIMS or other QM related systems.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in both Java and front end Technical development.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives
  • Overall systems and business process knowledge, and clear understanding of current and emerging technologies across a diverse range of platforms
  • Working knowledge of current Industry 4.0 technologies and trends, and familiarity with client/server environments
  • Functional understanding of standard interfaces built upon EDI, XML and IDOC transactions
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision
  • Experience in off/on shore model as well as working with Virtual teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.  Experience with analytical tools and flowcharting tools, such as Microsoft Visio

Preferred qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or business experience with a solid understanding of business operations /processes.
  • Experience with international or global ERP systems.
  • Exposure to plant floor systems (PCN) / Operational Technology and their integration with the Information Technology platforms.
  • IT Infrastructure technologies including Servers, Active Directory, Networking and Security
