You will apply your expertise in accounting and finance principles to support key financial processes, analysis, and reporting. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
As a Lead Accountant, under general supervision, you will:
Apply strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles to:
Perform, review, or audit complex journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations.
Complete month end close tasks
Assist in the consolidation of US and international entities
Assist with external audits
Prepare analysis of financial results requiring evaluation and judgment of complex situations and provide other support and recommendations for division management.
Prepare budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and other complex analyses including recommendations to management, and/or implement or review internal controls.
Perform research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles, tax laws, and/or IFRS, and make recommendations to management.
Lead special projects.

This job might be for you if you:
Have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Are innovative, motivated, and self-directed.
Possess advanced Excel skills.
Have strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts, or strong knowledge of GAAP, Tax, and/or IFRS.
Bring 6+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA, CMA, or CFA; or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or MBA.
Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Tax systems.
Tax, audit, project, and/or cost accounting experience.
International accounting experience.

Pay Range Data
Lead Accountant: $101,900 – $150,600 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
