As a LCL/FCL Team Leader you own and manage end-to-end customer experience within the assigned scope in LCL/FCL Product, in compliance with relevant company procedures. Strictly monitor performances through KPI’s with particular attention to Quality and Finops. You focus on engagement and development of individuals’ skills and lead the LCL/FCL Delivery Team on Maersk’s transformation journey to proactive and silos-free environment, emphasizing on digital-driven habits internally and with customers.

Key responsibilities:
In this role you will:

People

  • Guide LCL/FCL Delivery Team  through clearly defined annual targets balancing quality, cost and consistency.
  • Monitor all assigned KPI’s for an all-round coverage and timely act on non-compliances.
  • Identify/attract and retain talent, offer opportunities to learn and grow
  • Ensure team(s)  are trained and practice in accordance with global standards


Process and quality

  • Work with internal stakeholders to fine-tune and improve end-to-end processes and align with other Team Leaders in the Area to achieve synergies.
  • Ensure that solutions/processes are clearly defined within SOPs and understood by the team members, as well as the SOPs remain updated and duly cascaded to all stakeholders.
  • Drive teams with strong orientation towards delivering superior LCL/FCL customer quality.
  • Eliminate manual work and push for automatization by making the most out of all existing tools and working closely with SME in order to develop new tools that can support the team(s) daily.
  • Work to fully exploit GSC support by delegating transactional tasks and let FO focus on added-value activities
  • Be the 1st point of escalation for the team members on behalf of the manager and to resolve and take the necessary action before escalating further.
  • Manage LCL/FCL Delivery capacity according to demand.


Finance

  • Ensure all costs and incomes are captured in system by the team & closely work with BCO to spot discrepancies, and ensure timely invoicing according Area’s standards.
  • Analysis
  • Actively monitor volume trajectory of customer base, work with Product/Sales to maximize MLC network utilization.
  • Constantly feed market and customer information with internal stakeholders (in particular, Product/Sales).

 

We are looking for:
We are looking for a quite round professional, with a good knowledge of the shipping industry and the proper professional behavior. Strong communication skills are instrumental for the role as you will cooperate with internal stakeholders, external customers and you will guide your team in achieving the set targets. Financial understanding is highly appreciated and you will have to ensure the costs and incomes are captured in the systems. the ability to guide and develop a team as a coach and mentor are instrumental It goes without saying that the role requires the ability to prioritize. English and Local language (at least one among Hungarian, Czech or Slovakian) are the languages required for this role.

Location

The position can be based in Czech Republic, Slovakia or Hungary.
