Schedule: Due to the nature of law enforcement work and operation, position may require occasional support outside of core working hours, as well as intermittent weekend support, mission dependent
Salary: $70,000-100,000/Annual

Job Summary:
The Law Clerk provides legal research, document drafting, and case file support to attorneys and program leadership. This role assists with preparing legal memoranda, reviewing case documents for accuracy and completeness, and supporting litigation and administrative processes in alignment with federal requirements and contract specifications.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and summarize case law, regulations, and precedent
- Draft memoranda, briefs, correspondence, and case summaries for attorney review
- Review legal records and filings for completeness and compliance
- Assist with discovery activities, document requests, and trial preparation
- Maintain accurate case documentation and version control
- Coordinate with attorneys and government personnel to gather required information
- Track deadlines, case milestones, and court or agency schedules
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or current enrollment in an accredited law program required
- Experience supporting litigation or government legal programs preferred
- Strong legal research and analytical writing skills
- Familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable research databases
- Ability to interpret federal regulations, case law, and legal documents
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF document tools
Clearance:
Applicants selected may be subject to a government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment.
Security Requirements/Background Investigation Requirements:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
- Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years
- Successfully passing a background investigation including drug screening.
