Laboratory Technician
Location: County Carlow

Are you passionate about science and quality? IAS is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in County Carlow. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, supporting essential testing and analysis that drives our commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and test samples for key parameters such as pH, Conductivity, Turbidity, TDS, Suspended Solids, COD, BOD, Organic Matter, Kjeldahl Nitrogen, and more.
Accurately record and input results into our LIMS system.
Maintain compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standards and report any non-conformances.
Keep your work area organized and clean, following 5S principles.
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of samples.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen mindset).
What We’re Looking For
Education: Diploma or degree in a science discipline preferred.
Experience: Experience in a laboratory setting desirable.
Skills:
Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and LIMS.
Language: Good spoken and written English.
