Why we're hiring:

JOB PURPOSE : 
The RTR Specialist is an individual contributor. He/She is responsible in standardising and simplification of RTR processes and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in system and processes. He/She to ensure accurate and timely recording, collection, and processing of all general accounting and reporting, fixed assets, statutory accounting, bank transactions, direct and indirect tax transactions while adhering to WPP group and company policies and procedures. He/She is working with RTR Non-media team to report any system and processes issues with IT and global team for a resolution. 

What you'll be doing:

Record To Report:
▪ Ensure the team’s accurate and timely delivery of general accounting and reporting, fixed assets, statutory accounting and direct and indirect tax services (i.e. journal postings, GL maintenance, report preparation, reconciliations, tax submissions, etc.) in accordance with SLAs
▪ Subject Matter Expert in system and processess
▪ Ensure processes are in compliance with ICFR
▪ Back up to oversee month end RTR process to ensure timely completion of closing and reporting
▪ Drive project to standardising and simplification of RTR processes to improve efficiencies and productivities

Continuous Improvements:
▪ Implement best practices and proactively identify, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team
▪ Understanding new Regional and OpCo requirements, create new processes where applicable, align within SSC and communicate with OpCo

Others:
▪ Assist in managing transition activities with the Project Team
▪ Working with Manager in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to process optimization, automation, or system implementations.
▪ Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues being identified and escalate to relevant parties as necessary.
▪ Maintain a good stakeholder management
▪ Ability to introduce automation to processess
▪ Ability to communicate processes and drive improvements
▪ Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager


What you'll need:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, and professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.)
• 5- 7 years of experience in General Ledger operations
• Possess shared service centre experience
• Project Management skills & Process improvement skills
• Experience in using ERP system
• Native speaker / Korean : TOPIK 5/6 / Japanese : JLPT N2/N1
