Your role with us
As a Sportsbook Analyst, you will monitor live betting activity, analyse large data sets to support risk assessment and customer profiling, identify unusual betting patterns and help optimise trading and product performance. Reporting to the Sportsbook Managers, you will work closely with the team and cross functional stakeholders to deliver insights, support reporting, assist with customer queries and ensure the sportsbook delivers a first class experience.

Please Note: This role operates on a rotating shift roster. Team members are required to work any 5 of 7 days, with shifts scheduled between 07:00 and 21:00 to support the needs of the business.

What you will do:

• Profile and segment customers while monitoring betting activity both retrospectively and in real time to support effective customer and risk management
• Report on sportsbook product performance, including preparing daily and weekly performance reviews
• Provide Level 2 support to the Customer Support team by assisting with the investigation and resolution of customer queries
• Manage site content, including optimisation of sportsbook content and maintaining overall quality control
• Run backend reports using Tableau to conduct deep-dive analysis and support data-driven decision making

What you will bring:

• Strong passion for sports and sports betting
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Industry experience in sports betting or a related field strongly preferred
• Ability to work a roster of shifts in line with business requirements
• Availability to work any 5 of 7 days, including shifts between 07:00 and 21:00

Bonus points if you also have:

• Knowledge of and interest in esports
• Understanding of fixed odds markets and the principles involved in pricing and trading sports events
• Familiarity with casino terminology
• Experience or understanding of Responsible Gaming practices
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs), Slack, Excel and Tableau
