KITCHEN WORKER

The job involves:

• Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots ensuring that all are sanitized as per proper sanitation procedures
• Deep cleaning all kitchen areas including floors, walls, shelves, hoods, broilers and ovens
• Collecting and removing waste from all kitchen and restaurant outlets and assisting with the transporting of items between locations
• Standing for long periods of time; lifting, pushing and pulling up to 60lbs
• Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
• Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation

• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• Minimum 6-12 months experience in a high volume food outlet
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• The ability to successfully pass a pre placement medical and physical assessment
