As a Key Account Manager for Wilhelmsen Ships Service, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business while managing existing accounts.

The position and what you will do:

For our Sales Greece department, we are looking for a Key Account Manager. In this position, you are responsible for the commercial results of the assigned customer portfolio. As a Key Account Manager, you are the right person to further strengthen the market position of our product portfolio and to follow up and connect with the needs of our customers. In this dynamic market and changing world, there are many challenges waiting for you to tackle together with the customer and colleagues.

 

In this Sales-driven position, your goal is to achieve profitable revenue growth with our current and new customers. You are responsible for finding new customers, but you also actively look for new opportunities with our existing customers. You do this by developing Sales Activity Plans, right marketing, but also analyzing the right stakeholders and the needs of a customer and expanding the purchase of products from our broad portfolio. Within your daily work, you use the available tools and systems such as SalesForce and Power BI to monitor activities, draw up an action plan and achieve the objectives.

 

Required Experience and Skills

  • BA in Mechanical Engineering or 1st/2nd Class Marine Engineer diploma.

  • Sales experience in marine technical sales.

  • Sailing or other marine engineering experience is preferred.

  • Experience with MS Office and CRM systems, knowledge of SalesForce and Power BI is a plus.

  • Good and professional command of the Greek and English language (spoken & written).
