The Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Pharmacy Groups is responsible for developing, strengthening, and executing Haleon’s commercial strategy across Swiss pharmacy groups. The role manages an expanded customer portfolio—including central organizations and a defined pharmacy territory in the field—ensuring strategic alignment, flawless execution, and sustainable sales growth.
It combines strong customer partnership, field proximity, cross‑functional coordination, and indirect leadership of the sales force to maximize Haleon’s presence and performance.

Role Responsibilities

Customer Strategy & Ownership

  • Own and grow a broadened portfolio of pharmacy groups, as for Rotpunkt, Topharm or Pharmavital.
  • Develop customer‑specific strategies and annual business plans aligned with Haleon priorities and KPIs.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end ownership of baseline, promotional plans, and in‑store execution.
     

Customer Engagement & Execution Excellence

  • Maintain monthly connections with central organizations.
  • Conduct regular customer business reviews, assess performance, and identify opportunities for incremental growth.
  • Lead contract negotiations, commercial terms, and marketing plan agreements.
  • Continuously analyze market data, competition, and consumer insights to guide commercial strategy and collaborate on volume and value forecast.
     

Field Insights & Territory Development

  • Manage a defined pharmacy territory with weekly field visits (1 day/week).
  • Collect insights and share them cross functionally to improve commercial decisions.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and risks.
     

Cross‑Functional & Indirect Leadership

  • Work in close collaboration with the National Sales Force Lead to ensure alignment with field force priorities and execution.
  • Provide strategic direction, and alignment to Sales Representatives operating within the territory and groups.


Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Field experience, strong credibility in pharmacy environments & willingness to travel regularly (weekly field presence required).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset.
  • High resilience and adaptability in a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Languages: German, English, French as optional
