This is the role
Drive sales and service for the industrial steel construction and roof insulation segment, building strong distributor and contractor relationships and securing market share for ROCKWOOL systems.
Key responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with existing dealers and contractors in the flat‑roof insulation segment.
Identify and win new business: contractors, installers, investors and plant owners (local & international).
Provide technical and commercial support to dealers and their sales teams; deliver training, seminars and webinars.
Promote ROCKWOOL products at customer meetings, trade fairs and industry events.
Maintain accurate records and pipeline in the CRM; prepare forecasts, budgets and regular activity reports.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with dealers and construction companies; monitor payment behaviour.
Spot market opportunities and gather competitor intelligence to inform strategy and action plans.
Contribute to local marketing planning and campaign execution.
Requirements:
Technical or economic university graduate
Minimum 5 years experience in sales of technical products in B2B area. Experince with construction materials and experience of working with architects is a plus
Strategic account planning and development of customized plans for key clients.
Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to close complex contracts.
Strong interpersonal communication and a solution-oriented mindset.
Leadership and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve sales objectives.
Fluent in Romanian and good English
Willingness to travel 60-70% of time; mainly in Romania.
Strong ability to utilize CRM platforms and tools for sales performance analysis.
Valid category B driving license required.
