The Large Format Printing Global Business Unit (GBU) is responsible for business strategy, product portfolio, and R&D for all HP Large Format Printing products worldwide, including HP DesignJet, HP PageWide XL, HP Latex, and HP Stitch printers. We are looking for a Junior Vision System Engineer to contribute to Color Tools software and Image Processing as part of the Color and Imaging team.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to investigate and implement algorithms that:
Improve the fidelity of scanned copies compared to the original content
Automatically assess print quality for HP Large Format Printers
Enable standardized evaluation of color attributes such as color difference, color gamut (volume), repeatability, and accuracy
You will contribute to the development and maintenance of software tools related to image processing and color evaluation, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world R&D environment.
