About the Role

DBSI (Diageo Business Services) is a multi functional, multicultural, multi-language Shared Service Centre that handles DIAGEO-wide transactions across various world regions.

DBSI has developed quickly and grew rapidly over the past ten years, effecting massive change to working practices for worldwide in-market companies and other Diageo Business Units. As such DBSI is playing a key role in ensuring effective operation with minimum disruption of the core business of DIAGEO worldwide.

The Customer Supply stream has been formed as a separate entity of the DBSI Cash Cycle Process as the last step of a journey part of which was the migration of Supply processes from DBBV to Budapest. Significant cross-market and end-to-end functional responsibilities belong to this area, with the aim to continue the great steps forward that began in FY12 in the OTC community.

It ensures proper operation of processes from production planning and incoming customer orders to final deliveries with continuous order-to-ship end-to-end issue resolution. Service Delivery entails close business partnering with the market logistics, sales and customer service teams.

The OTC Process serves over 30 markets and many more countries.

The Senior Customer Supply Executive (providing service to the Primary Distribution  3rd party customers) reports to the Customer Supply Team Leader and is a member of a team of 10. The  Customer Supply Team is responsible for the Supply Chain processes for the markets supplied, forecasting, troubleshooting customer relations and issue resolution.

The  Primary Distribution area is a fast developing area in Diageo.

The growth trend is continuous and dynamic – the DBS Teams play a key role in supporting the Sales and Financial agenda of this dynamic growth.

Market Complexity:

The colourful structure of this area is well represented by the team structure, located in Budapest, Amsterdam and several Latin American countries.

Purpose of Role:

The Senior Customer Supply Executive has the following responsibilities:

- improving IMC’s sales by order management.

- Providing a high quality Customer Service to agreed service standards.

- Continuously improving customer service levels and OTIF numbers in co-operation with the IMC (In Market Company), Planning, Production, Finance and other parts of the business to strive for excellence in a highly competitive environment.

- Proactively maintain relationship with 3PLs, collaboration between Supply Chain and CSE, invoice corrections, stock reconciliation etc

-provide excellent customer service to improve customer satisfaction outside and inside Diageo.

- continuously challenge and improve processes, utilizing synergies between different areas.

Top Accountabilities:

-        Handling consignment warehousing – only if applicable

-        Resolving delivery and price related issues

-        Handling promotional and malt stock allocations

-        KPI delivery in the area of order entry accuracy, OTIFNE.

-        Relationship management with key customers, Credit Control Team, IMC Sales-force and warehouse, Planning Teams and Production Plants

-        Order management within pre-defined parameters

-        Continuously improving service levels in cooperation with other teams of the business to strive for excellence in a highly competitive environment

-        Build credible relationships (strong networking, influencing and communication skills required)

-        Manage strip stamp processes and export documentation

-        Forecasting

-        a cover for the Team Leader in case of absence.

-        a second point of contact for market stakeholders and customers

-        takes part in audits and CARM management for the area

PLANNING: (consignment warehouses only)

-        Replenish the consignment warehouse  - if applicable

-        Balance the need of product availability vs the need of minimizing cost of inventory

-        Review, challenge and understand 12 month demand signal

-        Managing primary and secondary distribution orders.

-        Managing stock inventory target

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Essential
