iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

About the job

As Junior Legal Counsel VIE within our Legal department, you’ll support handlinging all corporate and commercial legal matters in the Greater Gulf MCO (KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman.

VIE will assist in our extensive commercial and corporate work from updating our day-to-day templates, drafting and terminating Distribution Agreements, legal researches and drafting all type of commercial and medical agreements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and drafting a variety of commercial agreements under supervision of Head of Legal, including but not limited to Distribution Agreements, License Agreements, Medical Services agreements, clinical trial agreements.
  • Providing general Legal Department support including ad-hoc specialist research (such as data law protection) and general document management (such as developing/maintaining a file management system).
  • Conveying legal advice and follow-up information to manager, in consultation with attorneys or external lawyers, regarding the legal implications, risks, and liabilities of proposed and actual policies, practices, and contractual situations.
  • Participate in meetings and calls pertaining to resolution of contracting issues.
  • Effectively work with external counsel to optimize value.
  • Liaise with business units, internal and external stakeholders, law offices, joint venture companies and management on various legal issues as directed.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

About you

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in similar position.
  • Experience in law firms or In-House Legal Department in a Multi-National Organization is desired.

Soft and technical skills:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Focus on end results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical skills.

Education:

  • Master‘s Degree in Law.

Languages:

  • High level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Arabic would be a plus.
