What you will be doing 

Finance is the backbone of growth. With Vesper’s rapid expansion in the past few years, we are further investing in our in-house Finance team, ensuring that everything is in order on the financial and tax side, and we have the right people in place to get it all done! We are further investing more in our in-house Finance team to keep our financial and tax foundations solid, and to make sure we have the right people to support what’s next. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this role provides a unique learning opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to work in a fast-paced environment and have a visible impact on the organization. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Preparation and processing of journal entries timely and accurately
  • Management of the accounts receivable process and assisting with subscription management
  • Management of the accounts payable process ensuring accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices and expense claims
  • Critique current processes and suggest improvements where necessary
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly closing, reconciliations and analysis
  • Provide assistance on other ad-hoc financial projects, or finance related queries from staff



What you will bring

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge and experience in Accounting and Financial reporting (Preferably you have at least 1 year experience in a similar role.)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office, and in particular high competency with Microsoft Excel
  • Independent and solutions focused
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Learning mindset and ambition to grow and excel
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
