Jr. Technical Architect
We are seeking a Jr. Technical Architect to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Jr. Technical Architect at Marsh, you will support the design and delivery of scalable, secure solutions, gaining hands-on experience with cloud platforms, software architecture, and integration practices.
We will count on you to:
- Design and develop software architectures aligned with business needs and enterprise standards.
- Support cloud and on-premises solution design, primarily focusing on AWS and Azure environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation efforts using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Help enforce security best practices, including OWASP guidelines, throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in architectural reviews and provide input on software design and integration.
- Support integration efforts with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical skills.
- Work closely with senior architects and mentors to develop professional growth and technical expertise.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software development or related technical roles.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, multi-cloud) and cloud-native architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
- Proficient in modern technology stacks including Node.js, Angular, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, and APIs.
- 100% fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
