Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining clean, efficient code across full-stack CMS applications, with a stronger focus on backend services and APIs while also supporting frontend functionality. The engineer will contribute to the design and enhancement of scalable software solutions that align with business goals, using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and related web technologies. Responsibilities include implementing testing approaches to validate software quality, documenting development processes for knowledge sharing, supporting system integration needs, and collaborating with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions. The role also includes troubleshooting application issues to improve system performance and user experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Writing and maintaining efficient code for software components across backend and frontend systems, adhering to development best practices
  • Supporting the design and development of CMS software applications and enhancements aligned with business objectives
  • Contributing primarily to backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot, while also supporting frontend development using React JS and related web technologies
  • Implementing and maintaining testing approaches for software validation, including unit and integration tests, to ensure quality
  • Documenting the software development process, including design, implementation, and deployment procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Analyzing software integration needs and supporting system design to meet technical and functional requirements
  • Reviewing current practices and technical documentation to help inform project solutions and applying sound engineering methodologies
  • Working with Quality Assurance and cross-functional partners to ensure applications meet technical requirements and functional specifications
  • Troubleshooting software issues and providing resolutions to enhance application performance, reliability, and user satisfaction
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $48.98 - $65.31 USD.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
