About the role

Are you looking to build a strong foundation in Medical Workforce and gain hands‑on experience across recruitment, rostering, payroll, and administrative operations? This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic unit where you’ll develop skills across the full spectrum of Medical Workforce functions, setting you up for long-term growth in health administration.

  • You’ll be part of a supportive team, contribute to essential hospital operations, and will grow your capabilities

  • This role rotates through the key aspects of Medical Workforce providing administrative support to team leads and managers, in the following domains for optimal staff experience:

    • End-to-end JMO recruitment,

    • Workforce transactions,

    • Rosters and payroll duties

    • Education programming and support

About you

  • Experienced in recruitment, workforce transactions, rostering, or payroll in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

  • Strong communicator with excellent people service skills and a talent for building positive stakeholder relationships.

  • Skilled at interpreting policies, legislation, and procedures relevant to Medical Workforce activities.

  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle priorities while meeting deadlines.

  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS (Workday), and rostering systems (Kronos or similar).
