The Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing human and material resources, as well as overseeing the activities of Operations, Shipping, and Mixed areas to ensure production objectives are met in terms of quality, volume, and delivery time.

What you'll do

- Ensure a safe workplace with zero accidents and first-aid incidents.

- Meet and exceed customer requirements and service expectations.

- Maintain constant communication with operational staff to motivate, train, and achieve service level goals.

- Follow up and execute action plans derived from HPT initiatives.

- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, including proposing, tracking, and implementing improvement ideas.

- Control and manage inventory, including inventory explanations and accountability.

- Promote active participation in CMS initiatives.

- Participate in the review and implementation of engineering changes.

- Apply ISO 14001 requirements related to the role and act appropriately during environmental emergencies.

- Measure HPT performance through scorecards and coach key contributors to achieve objectives.

- Enforce safety system procedures and coordinate hygiene and health programs.

- Support and participate in personnel training.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering / Industrial Administration, or Electrical Engineering.

Technical knowledge & skills

- Operations and general management.

- Budget preparation and control.

- Inventory management.

- Safety systems and ISO 14001 knowledge.

- Personnel management and labor relations.

Additional requirements

- Advanced conversational English.

- Experience in production, warehousing, or distribution.
