ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team in Broomfield. This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about technology, loves solving problems, and wants to make a real impact at a company driving the clean energy revolution. You'll be the first point of contact for technical support, ensuring our team has the tools and systems they need to succeed. Additionally, you will be setting up computers for new workers and collaborating on projects to enhance and maintain our IT infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Technical Support & Troubleshooting (70%)

  • Provide first-line technical support via email, phone, and ticketing system (Jira Service Management)
  • Set up and configure workstations with computers, monitors, and peripheral devices
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft 365, and business applications
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices)
  • Support remote and hybrid employees with VPN, remote desktop, and collaboration tools
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members when needed

System Administration & Maintenance (20%)

  • Assist with user account management in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
  • Monitor and maintain IT asset inventory and equipment lifecycle
  • Support software deployments and updates across the organization
  • Ensure security best practices for endpoint devices and user access
  • Participate in IT projects and infrastructure improvements

Facilities Coordination (10%)

  • Coordinate with property management for building-related IT infrastructure
  • Manage conference room technology and AV equipment
  • Support office moves, adds, and changes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar technical role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Customer service mindset with patience and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with both in-office and remote support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certification
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and cloud-based IT management
  • Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge
  • Experience supporting Mac/Windows hybrid environments
  • Understanding of VPN and remote access technologies

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
  • Extended periods working at computer workstation
  • Moderate office noise levels
  • Some physical mobility required for on-site support and equipment setup
  • Regular, predictable attendance required

Salary Range

$52,400.00 - $78,600.00
