The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dentalcorp’s IT Operations team at a time of continued growth and transformation. As an IT Support Specialist based in our Toronto office, you’ll play a critical role in supporting both our Support Centre staff and dental clinics across the network. Reporting to the Manager, IT Service Desk and Deskside Support, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where your technical expertise and service mindset will directly enable teams to do their best work. Who You Are

You are a service‑driven IT professional with a strong foundation in deskside and service desk support, thriving in busy operational environments. You’re technically confident, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You enjoy collaborating with cross‑functional teams, coordinating with vendors, and troubleshooting across a range of technologies - from hardware and Office 365 to VoIP and mobile devices. Known for your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you take pride in following standards, resolving issues efficiently, and continuously looking for ways to improve the support experience.

The Impact You’ll Have

Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, you’ll resolve issues efficiently to enable employees and clinicians stay focused on what matters most – delivering excellent patient care.

In This Role, You Will

  • Coordinate support with vendors and local IT providers

  • Implement and support VoIP Telco issues

  • Be responsible for staging and imaging hardware as well as deploying hardware

  • Record, track and escalate incidents with ITSM ticketing software

  • Setup user accounts and maintain system data across all applications

  • Support, troubleshoot and identify trends of incidents/problems

  • Resolve tasks within the Service Level Agreements

  • Coordinate with IT teams on issues requiring escalation

  • Mobile device support

  • Assist with special projects as required

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience providing deskside support in office

  • Previous IT experience in service desk support setting

  • Proficiency in using and managing Office 365

  • Hardware (desktop/laptop) troubleshooting: (Windows and Mac)

  • Quick error analysis and troubleshooting skill

  • Demonstrated experience enforcing standards, policies and procedures

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Customer focused mentality

The salary range for this position is $65,000 CAD to $75,000 CAD annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
