Summary of Position
The IT Supply Chain Procurement Intern will work closely with Jabil’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Procurement team to support critical technology-driven initiatives. The intern will use technical skills to maintain and enhance Supply Chain applications interfacing with ERP systems, managing documentation, and assist in custom application development. The intern will also contribute to process improvements and provide technical support to a large user community, ensuring seamless procurement operations and data integrity across global systems.
Intern Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and enhancing Supply Chain applications integrated with ERP systems to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Support the SCM Procurement team in tracking project/task progress, performance, and communication.
Support documentation management for procurement processes, including updating workflows and technical specifications.
Collaborate with the SCM Procurement team to develop reports for data analysis and performance tracking.
Participate in custom application development projects aimed at improving procurement efficiency and automation.
Provide technical support to a global user community, troubleshooting issues and ensuring data integrity across systems.
Qualifications
Major(s): Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
Class Year(s): Senior, Recent Grad, or Graduate Student.
GPA: Min 3.0
Technical Skills:
Documentation & Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence) and basic process documentation.
Data & Analysis: Basic understanding of databases and data queries to support reporting and analysis.
Business Process Understanding: Interest in learning business operations and transactional workflows.
Requirements Gathering: Ability to listen, document information accurately, and ask clarifying questions.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Teamwork & Independence: Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a global team structure and accommodate occasional meetings outside standard business hours.
Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg, FL from May 18, 2026– Aug 7, 2026.
