Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr Operations Support Program Analyst to join our team!
Overview:
- Manage daily operations/logistics procedures to ensure efficiency
- Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and guidelines
- Identify and resolve operational problems to prevent delays
- Provide support in project management tasks
- Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors, inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.
- Work closely with the operations team to achieve business goals
Additional specific duties:
- Responsible for document control at the field office level.
- Schedules meetings client and subcontractors and prepares presentations and other materials as required.
- Reconciles various office accounts; pays operating bills or submits appropriate documentation to the corporate office for payment.
- Obtain competitive bids from outside vendors for a variety of services such as on-site copiers, maintenance services, etc.
- Submits recommended purchase/lease arrangements to Project/Operations Manager for approval.
- Prepare financial reports as requested by management.
- May represent the office by attendance at meetings with the client or others.
- Highlights pertinent/pending actions for program, project, and functional group managers.
- Manages long lead inventory/assets issues and solutions.
- Administers the operating budget for the project office. Gives input for initial figures; investigates, resolves, and reports all variances to the Project Manager.
- Purchases, manages, forecasts and maintains appropriate inventory levels.
- Originates correspondence and reports not requiring the personal attention of Project Manager.
- Shipping various inventory pieces through major shipping companies-includes initializing, scheduling and coordinating end to end.
- Responsible for the Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) process in our section from end to end.
- Responsible for submitting new requirements into the procurement system and following those requirements through receipt of items, tracking packing slips, and closing out receipt in Cost Point.
- Packing inventory for shipping/delivery to customers or other recipient. This includes occasional drop off of assets to shippers. (Applicant should be able to lift 50+lbs w/o issue)
- Reviews time reports to verify accuracy of hours worked and Job#/WBS charges.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in a related field such as government or large company logistics, supply chain, supply, acquisitions, program management, program analyst, operations analyst etc. 15+ years preferred
- Prior military experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- The ability to take initiative and follow through end to end on various tasks.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, demonstrated leadership, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills and the utilization of MS Windows, Office 365 and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in dealing with vendors, suppliers and customers.
- A working knowledge of company policies and procedures is preferred, as well as a demonstrated ability to administer a variety of activities simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience with SharePoint and Equip (or other inventory management systems) are a plus
- Experience with Government Contracts/Customers
- Hazmat certified desired (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
- Relevant degree in business, finance, supply chain management, logistics, management, or related area.
- TS/SCI security clearance preferred.

- May be required, but projected to be less than 25%.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
