At Frost, it’s about more than a job. It’s about having a flourishing career where you can thrive, both in and out of work. At Frost, we’re committed to fostering an environment that reflects our values and encourages team members to be the best they can be. In joining our adaptable, integrity-driven team, you’ll become part of Frost’s over 150-year legacy of providing unparalleled banking services.

Who you are:

As an IT Strategy Consultant, you are our inventive strategist, utilizing your high level of expertise to help create strategies that achieve our corporate goals. You will help bring value to the organization by shaping and executing Frost’s IT strategies, ensuring alignment with our core values. You welcome a challenge and will use your strong communication skills to ensure smooth and effective execution of initiatives. Most importantly, this role is about constant improvement and doing it with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner and Chief of Staff to the Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations and key liaison across direct reports, IT stakeholders, and other internal stakeholders, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion across IT initiatives

  • Drive operational rhythm for the Infrastructure & Operations leadership team — owning meeting cadences, managing agenda governance, capturing and tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through on commitments

  • Participate in budget planning, forecasting, expense modeling, and Vendor Negotiation for infrastructure spend categories including hardware refresh cycles, software licensing, cloud consumption, and managed services contracts

  • Develop, document, and implement operational processes and procedures including runbooks, escalation paths, and governance frameworks to improve team performance and service delivery

  • Represent Infrastructure & Operations Director in leadership meetings, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups, ensuring effective communication, goal alignment, and follow-through on action items

  • Partner with Human Resources and Resource Managers to coordinate hiring and onboarding for infrastructure roles and closing gaps between talent needs and available resources

  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT program management, infrastructure operations, or strategic execution within an enterprise IT environment

  • Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure domains including data center operations, network, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), end-user computing, and ITSM frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects and manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive and business audiences

  • Advanced Excel modeling and executive‑level PowerPoint storytelling to deliver data‑driven insights to influence decision‑making.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner Certification

  • Experience supporting a CIO or Director-level technology executive in a Chief of Staff or Senior Program Manager capacity

  • Familiarity with FinOps practices for cloud cost governance and infrastructure spend optimization

  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms, ServiceNow, and Jira
