Join our Digital Technology Sourcing Team
As an IT Sourcing Category Manager – Software & Cloud, you will be responsible for managing sourcing activities and supplier relationships across the software and cloud category to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute annual sourcing strategies and pipeline plans for the software and cloud category.
Support the achievement of cost savings and value optimization targets.
Lead RF(x) processes and support commercial negotiations with software and cloud service providers.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Cyber Security, and IT.
Assist in mitigating supplier and contractual risks through effective sourcing and supplier management practices.
Communicate project status, sourcing processes, and compliance requirements to stakeholders.
Act as a trusted business partner to IT and cross-functional teams to support business outcomes and ensure adherence to company policies.
Manage relationships with key software and cloud suppliers to support business needs and internal customer satisfaction.
Support multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment.
Maintain awareness of global cybersecurity and data privacy considerations related to software and cloud services procurement.
Fuel Your Passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Have 3–5 years of experience supporting or leading technology sourcing activities, particularly for Software (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud) and related services.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze internal and external data to support category and sourcing strategies.
Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to support contract discussions aligned with business needs.
Have experience reviewing and redlining software and cloud contracts in partnership with Legal.
Exhibit strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
