JOB POSITION
Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking an Associate Procurement, who will ensures that the software asset inventory is maintained at optimal levels against contract terms and conditions by Provide value-based recommendations for strategic decision making to our Business Partners. Procurement.
The associate will partner with business and ELV leadership to analyze, diagnose, identify priorities, conceptualize initiatives and flawlessly program manage to see these initiatives through to execution. The incumbent must understand business priorities and organization context and could influence solutions/outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of software lifecycle process and management of lifecycle within an enterprise
Highly proficient in SAM tools (ServiceNow, Flexera), Ariba procurement, software inventory management and Microsoft Office tools (Excel)
Familiarity with software licensing agreements/contracts, licensing types, compliance and procurement process
Understanding of enterprise budgets process and cost allocation process
Ability to prioritize, delegate and review team’s activities
Understanding of SaaS software, licensing models and deployment processes
Manage and train team to communicate with end users, IT Sponsor/SMEs, Sourcing , vendors, resellers and various other teams involved
Triage software requests received and prioritize urgent/escalated requests
Perform periodic quality assurance (QA) reviews of the license records to ensure data is accurate and up to date and remediate identified gaps, as needed
Review team’s communications with stakeholders and guide team on best practices
Ensure compliance with vendor licensing terms, track license consumption, and manage renewals effectively
Train & guide end-users through published knowledge base (KBs) on SAM best practices, compliance, and cost-saving measures
Perform periodic quality assurance (QA) reviews and clean-up of license deployments, to ensure license records remain accurate and contact compliance is maintained
Obtain understanding of roadblocks and provides solutions for mitigation
Reviews contract terms and conditions for improvement areas, as well as changes in vendor licensing or other market factors
QUALIFICATION
Full time any Graduation, Master’s or equivalent degree.
Any Industry certifications like Software Asset Lifecycle, Audit & Compliance would added Advantage.
EXPERIENCE
2-4 years of Software Asset Management (SAM), Software License Compliance (SLC) Experience or ServiceNow workflow experience (or similar experience)
Proficiency in managing software deployments and SaaS technologies in on-premise and cloud-based services
