IT Service Owner / Application Operations Manager - Actico Business Rule Engine 100% (f/m/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start for 3 months with possible extension)

We are seeking an experienced Application Operations Manager to set up the environments for the ACTICO Business Rule Engine and establish it as an IT service. An IT service encompasses one or more associated applications (for which dedicated Application Responsibilities may exist).

The IT Service Owner (ITSO) serves as the primary point of contact for operations, support, maintenance, and overarching service lifecycle matters. During the delivery of new features, the ITSO ensures the proper implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Responsible and System Architect, and coordinates the transition into UAT and production environments.

The ITSO also manages infrastructure requirements by working closely with other teams, following bank-wide standardised processes.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Manage the environment setup end-to-end: Coordination,
  alignment with inhouse experts and consultants from Actico,
  reporting to the Product Owner and the System Architect

• Setup namespace configuration and pods for three environments
  (TST, UAT and PRD)

• Configure firewalls, ingress and pipeline (harbor & octopus) for
  three environments (TST, UAT and PRD)

• Establish CI/CD pipeline, logging and monitoring

• Write or assist in writing the necessary documentation: Service
  and Security Design, Solution Design and Operating Manual

• Coordinate integration tests to the complete setup of the
  environments

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer on CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab, Octopus, Helm Charts in Docker, Kubernetes and Linux/RHEL 8 environments

• Experience with Actico Platform for Business Rules Management

• Beneficial: Certifications, training on Visual Rules / Actico Rules are a plus

• System engineering skills on JAVA technology stack

• Experience with Oracle DB and SQL

• Good understanding of integrating REST web service technologies

• Experience with Eclipse for development and debugging

• Strong communication skills, problem solving, social interaction & cross-cultural mindset, empathy & can-do spirit

• Able to communicate with business and technical stakeholders

• Fluent in English (verbal/written)
