About the Operations Portfolio 

The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated, enterprise-wide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences.  The portfolio incorporates the following business units: Data and Analytics, Finance and Governance, Information and Technology Services (ITS), Legal, Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO), People Function (HR) and Property Services Group (PSG). The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life, across the globe.   

About this role 

Activities of this casual role may include responding to customer enquiries at first point of contact, providing a high level of customer service skills across all customer contact channels, such as phone, email and online platforms. The role may also involve researching issues to understand their root cause, providing clear advice to resolve them, or escalating more complex or high-risk enquiries to the appropriate specialist teams. 

Our ideal candidate will have: 

•  Experience delivering professional support services to IT, Finance and/or HR. 

•  Knowledge of ServiceNow, Workday or service desk experience is desirable. 

•  Customer centric mindset. 

•  Strong communication skills. 

•  Ability to gather facts, think logically and give clear advice. 

•  Ability to build strong relationships with staff and external partners. 

•  Proficiency using Microsoft suite and openness to learn new technologies. 

•  Strong focus on knowledge creation and management 

Qualifications  

A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a service desk environment.
