As a Hi Tech Engineer, you serve as technical specialist to Target Team Members: providing one-on-one in-person, virtual, and remote support and education for hardware and software.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide a high-level of customer service to Target Team Members on a daily basis
- Rapidly resolve hardware, software, educational, and environmental incidents and requests
- Provide preventative maintenance to ensure hardware and software stability
- Coordinate and collaborate with partner support teams to drive issue resolution
- Adhere to and advocate for Target’s Information Security Policies and Best Practices
- Drive continuous improvement with the development of new standards, best practices, and process improvements
- Provide supervision/work direction to contract staff
About You
- BE or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years relevant technical support experience
- Proven troubleshooting ability with macOS and Windows 10
- Good knowledge on mobile devices such as Android OS, iOS, iPadOS
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
- Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
- Strong support-minded focus
- Strong problem solving capabilities and analytical skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with end users, understand their needs, and translate into technology solutions
- Able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment; a fast learner, self-starter and highly passionate and motivated individual
- Ability to multi-task
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Positive attitude
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
