NyproMold, Inc. is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join our dynamic Information Technology team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience across various IT functions within a global manufacturing environment. The IT Intern will support the team in daily operations, projects, and problem-solving, contributing to the efficient and secure functioning of our technology infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist IT support staff with troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end-users.
* Provide basic technical support for network connectivity, printing, and common application problems.
* Participate in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new IT equipment (e.g., computers, monitors, peripherals).
* Document IT processes, procedures, and inventory of hardware and software assets.
* Support IT projects by performing research, data entry, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
* Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion of access.
* Learn and apply IT best practices related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
* Collaborate with various IT teams to understand different functional areas (e.g., infrastructure, applications, security).
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department's objectives.
Job Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
* Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.
