IT Cyber Security Officer

Responsible For

  • Implementing and monitoring IT security, risk management strategies, and compliance requirements
  • Ensuring all allocated tasks in the security and compliance “Scheduled Tasks” calendar are kept up to date
  • Acting as a security “champion” within the business, promoting best practices and awareness

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • Understanding of security principles such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and IRAP
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and testing for other security controls such as user validation activities
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors; report workplace hazards; and promote a safe and positive work environment
  • Complete all necessary training requirements and professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Typical Experience

  • Experience working directly with internal and external clients
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows servers and desktop environments

  • Willingness to work additional hours based on business demands
  • Ability to travel and work across multiple sites as required
