About the role
Darlinghurst or Smithfield location – Hybrid role – WFH 2 days a week

We have a rare opportunity for an experience IT Business Partner to join our supportive team. Working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities you will serve as the link between the Vinidex Business Unit functions and Global Aliaxis Information Technology Team.
Based in Sydney, the goal of the role is to drive simplification, standardisation and business outcomes through pragmatic delivery of IT projects & services.
The Business Partner defines the business needs; value delivered and oversees the delivery of projects in partnership with the Business Unit. The Business Partner also communicates the IT functional agenda to the Business key stakeholders, identifies, and manages risks.
The IT Function operates in a matrix structure with different stakeholders across businesses and global functions. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management & collaboration skills;
Experience required
You will have completed a bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a relevant industry
Proven experience as Functional Business Partner or Consultant
Typically has 10 to 15 years of experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business models.
Experience with strategic planning, project delivery, business development, & consulting.
Must possess strong business acumen. Fact driven decision making and value-based priorities.
Experience with various project & continuous improvement methodologies highly valued.
Experience in corporate cloud-based infrastructure & systems (ERP, BI and CRM) an advantage.
About you
This role will suit a customer focused and project execution skilled professional with interest and experience in processes, technology and change management.
You will also have;
Experience in a complex, relationship-based business environment would be advantageous. Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with a solution focused mindset and energy to drive outcomes
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders; including internal customers, leadership team, vendors and customers, to influence and negotiate to get the best outcome.
Have a high level of experience managing and developing a small team, leading project teams, with the ability to look at the bigger picture and drive simplicity and standardisation
Are a team player with a collaborative style who is positive, agile and wants to work in a team that is supportive, innovative and challenges the status quo.
Excellent with time management, and coordination skills, have a sense of urgency, results focused, with high attention to detail, commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
