Role Summary

The Senior Technical Product Manager – Secured Finance is responsible for defining, delivering, and scaling secured financing products across Repo, Securities Lending, and Collateral Management. This role owns the product strategy and roadmap endtoend, working closely with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Technology partners to drive product innovation, regulatory alignment, and operational excellence across the full trade lifecycle.

The role requires deep domain expertise in secured financing markets, strong product management discipline, and the ability to translate business strategy into executable product and technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and multiyear roadmap for secured finance products (e.g., Repo, Reverse Repo, Securities Lending, Collateral Optimization).
  • Drive product expansion from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, client needs, and market structure evolution.
  • Define clear product outcomes, success metrics, and prioritization frameworks aligned to business value and risk considerations.

Business & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly articulated, prioritized, and delivered.
  • Partner closely with Trading, Treasury, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure products meet regulatory, control, and governance expectations.
  • Lead crossfunctional forums (e.g., working groups, steering committees) to align on scope, sequencing, and delivery tradeoffs.

Delivery & Execution

  • Translate business objectives into welldefined product requirements, epics, and features to enable efficient technology delivery.
  • Support agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, dependency management, and release planning.
  • Ensure readiness across operations, controls, and client support for all product launches and enhancements.

Risk, Controls & Regulatory Alignment

  • Embed risk management, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance into product design and delivery.
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to support regulatory initiatives, audits, and control assessments relevant to secured financing products.
  • Ensure product designs align with fronttoback processing, books and records, and control frameworks.

Market & Client Focus

  • Maintain a strong understanding of secured financing market trends, client demands, and competitive offerings.
  • Incorporate client feedback and market insights into product enhancements and strategic investment decisions.
  • Support client onboarding, product adoption, and commercialization initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 12–14+ years of experience in financial markets, with deep expertise in secured financing, repo, securities lending, and/or collateral management.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and delivering complex financial products across front, middle, and back office.
  • Strong understanding of secured financing market structure, margining, collateral flows, and lifecycle processing.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across business, technology, and control functions in a global environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executivelevel presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with secured finance platforms and vendor solutions (e.g., securities financing or collateral management systems).
  • Familiarity with agile / product operating models and scaled delivery frameworks.
  • Prior experience supporting regulatory initiatives impacting secured financing or funding businesses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $217,500 Annual
