IT Business Analyst

The team

You will join the Customer & Data domain, working directly within the DISCO programme—one of ING’s major initiatives focused on modernising applications, processes, and services. You’ll collaborate with multiple squads across different tribes to deliver improvements that strengthen the bank’s data foundation.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of key initiatives within the DISCO programme and help ensure successful delivery across squads and domains. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives related to MING Z, decommissioning (DRO), and data migration.
• Analysing IT applications, processes, and dependencies within the scope of the Customer & Data domain.
• Collaborating with squads to gather, align, and challenge designs and requirements.
• Translating business and technical needs into clear features, requirements, and IT blueprints.
• Creating detailed feature‑level roadmaps and contributing to epic‑level planning across tribes.
• Ensuring stakeholders are well‑informed and supported in making decisions and prioritising work.
• Guiding and challenging engineers and squads on implementation choices.
• Managing cross‑tribe dependencies and ensuring transparency around technical impacts.

• Proven experience with MING Z, decommissioning (DRO), and data migration activities.
• Strong knowledge of the Customer Data area and understanding of ING’s IT environment.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
• Experience delivering complex IT changes in an end‑to‑end environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work across tribes and navigate dependencies.
