The Position

IT Business Analyst - Biometrics and Clinical Evidence

Empowering Innovation in Pharma Development As a Principal Business Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of business strategy, data, and technology to shape the future of healthcare. You will lead data discovery across complex problem spaces, translating business needs into scalable data products that drive measurable outcomes. Join our team to design high-standard, compliant solutions that bridge the gap between clinical study data and real-world evidence.

Description of the area

This team plays a critical role in drug development, integrating clinical study data, real-world evidence, and enabling cross-ecosystem collaboration to drive operational excellence and scientific innovation. They also deliver real-time operational insights from clinical trials, enabling proactive management of study execution, improving enrollment strategies, and streamlining workflows for maximum efficiency. By fostering collaboration across registries and federated open science networks, they leverage shared data ethically to uncover new scientific insights and study long-term treatment outcomes. Additionally, the team harnesses RWE and secondary use of clinical trial data to understand real-world treatment effectiveness, utilization patterns, and patient health trends. This holistic approach ensures trials are efficient, evidence generation is robust, and therapies are aligned with real-world patient needs, accelerating development timelines and improving outcomes at every stage.

A key focus of the area will also be building AI-ready data foundations that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and emerging agentic AI capabilities. This includes engineering trusted, well-governed, and semantically rich datasets; enabling metadata-driven access; and providing reusable data products that allow autonomous and human-in-the-loop AI systems to safely explore, reason over, and act on complex clinical and real-world data.

The Opportunity:

  • Define and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for data products that enable the reuse of clinical and operational data.

  • Lead business analysis across ambiguous, cross-functional spaces using systems thinking to identify dependencies and value paths.

  • Translate business goals into comprehensive data requirements, including epics, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria.

  • Partner with stakeholders across PD, engineering, and architecture to align priorities and drive consensus on solution direction.

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and delivery sequencing for scalable outcomes.

  • Drive the full lifecycle of data products from initial discovery and design through to deployment and iterative enhancement.

  • Ensure high standards for data quality, governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance across all managed data assets.

  • Mentor the community by acting as a senior advisor, contributing to best practices and professional development within the BA community.

Who you are:

  • Educated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Informatics, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experienced professional with significant years in business analysis or data product management, ideally within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex data or analytics solutions on modern, cloud-based platforms.

  • Domain expert with knowledge of clinical development, trial operations, or adjacent Pharma Development data domains.

  • Agile practitioner comfortable with backlog management and cross-functional delivery in a product-centric operating model.

  • Technical communicator skilled in requirements elicitation, domain modeling, and translating complex data architectures for stakeholders.

  • Strategic leader dedicated to organizational development, mentoring senior practitioners, and driving a culture of excellence.

What you get:

  • Salary range 19,000 - 35,400 PLN gross based on the employment contract.

  • Annual bonus payment based on your performance.
