Mō te tūranga | About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead and deliver end‑to‑end internal audits with a strong focus on technology, data and emerging risk. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, the Board Audit Committee, and the opportunity to apply modern data analytics and AI‑assisted techniques to deepen audit insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver technology and selected business audits across the full audit lifecycle
Assess risks, processes and controls, and provide clear, practical assurance and insights
Develop high‑quality audit reports, including issue significance analysis and agreed management actions
Leverage data analytics to test controls, identify anomalies and enhance audit outcomes
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and Group Audit
Monitor emerging risks, business changes and issue management activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives locally and at Group level
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
5+ years’ experience in internal and/or external audit, with a focus on technology and data risk
A relevant degree (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology or similar)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences
Proven stakeholder management capability and sound commercial judgement
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Professional qualification such as CISA
Experience with data analytics, SQL, Python or other scripting languages
Background in financial services or a regulated environment
