Work Location: Pune, India (Work from Office, readiness for 24x7 and out of office hours support hours).

Relevant experience required (in years): 6 - 8 years.

Educational Qualification: Any graduate (preferably IT) from a reputed University

Required Skills & Competencies:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to engage effectively at all organizational levels across all communication channels.

 · Hands-on experience with network hardware, including configuration of firewalls, switches, and routing protocols; proficiency with HPE Aruba (routing & switching) and Check Point (firewalls) preferred.

· Expert-level knowledge of remote access VPN solutions, including advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

· Expert-level understanding of multi-OS networking stacks across enterprise environments.

· Proficient in diagnosing and resolving identity-based networking issues, including 802.1x device registration, authentication failures, and policy enforcement.

· Strong ability to assess the network requirements of diverse enterprise applications and systematically troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.

· Skilled in the use of network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and Nmap, with the ability to interpret output efficiently to drive rapid issue resolution.

· Solid working knowledge of enterprise wireless networking, encompassing device authentication, IP address management, and access point troubleshooting.

· Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated experience in support case management, ensuring timely resolution and clear stakeholder communication throughout.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving network problems for industrial equipment would be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ansible network automation would be a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:
 

  • Monitor the health of data centres worldwide and take timely corrective actions to maintain uptime and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across Windows endpoints, Windows servers, Linux servers, and virtual machines.
  • Provide L2 support for LAN/WAN environments in a 24×7 operational setting; engage with ISPs and WAN providers to address service disruptions and collaborate with L3 teams on the resolution of major incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to ensure optimal performance and reliability, with a focus on HPE Aruba (switching and wireless) and Check Point (firewalls).
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize network infrastructure using centralized platforms such as Aruba Central and OP5 Netmon.
  • Support L3 teams in network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations; provide hands-on physical assistance as needed, including racking, cabling, and patch management.
  • Adhere to established configuration and change management policies to ensure all network changes are properly documented, approved, and executed with minimal risk.
  • Troubleshoot remote access VPN issues at the end-user level, addressing both endpoint and firewall-side factors to drive fast, effective resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and support collaboration devices, including video conferencing systems, IP phones, and meeting room endpoints, to ensure seamless connectivity and user experience.
