Introduction

Vanderlande is seeking a proactive Global Contract Administration Specialist, where your expertise in contract lifecycle management will support our global procurement activities. As part of the global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE), you will ensure timely, compliant, and efficient management of contracts, playing a critical role in maintaining accurate records and facilitating seamless operations.

Our global procurement organization enables our projects and business functions by maximizing value and minimizing risks via the procurement of goods and services in the most smart, cost-effective and sustainable way. We ensure a resilient and competitive supplier ecosystem and aim to advance towards best-in-class practices, and ensure the organization is efficient, effective, and future-proof. Furthermore, our procurement organization plays an important role in Vanderlande's transformation from an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) to a Configure-to-Order (CTO) business model. This new model aims at enhancing value for its customers through increased standardization, scalability, and more competitive solutions.

What will you be doing?​

In your role as a Global Contract Administration Specialist, you will maintain and update standard contract templates, organize contract repositories, and draft contracts upon request by our demand management project execution or supply management teams. You will perform timely contract reviews, process contract change orders, and adjust contracts for compliance with terms and conditions. Your work will support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement function.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement employees across the globe with contract creation and management by helping create and maintain standard templates, facilitating contract drafting and formalization (incl. obtaining necessary approvals and signatures), and maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and modifications
  • When requested, update contracts in the contract repositories, ensuring accurate contract, supplier, and product data
  • Adjust contracts for compliance with terms and conditions, in collaboration with the legal department if needed, to ensure adherence to any regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Execute timely contract reviews and renewals, and escalate expiring contract timelines to category managers as needed
  • Process contract change orders, ensuring they are properly documented
  • Finalize contracts upon completion, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled, and conduct post-contract reviews to help identify lessons learned and improve future contracts
  • Contribute and help in identifying areas for improvement in the Contract Administration process and support the implementation of best practices

What do we ask from you?​

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience (+5 years) in contract administration and lifecycle management, preferably within global procurement or supply chain functions and with understanding of contracting practices in different regions across the globe
  • Experience in creating and maintaining standard contract templates, facilitating contract drafting and formalization
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage contract repositories, managing multiple contracts and deadlines effectively.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English for clear communication within an international team setting
