WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 An IT Asset Technician plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle within an organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory Management: Track and maintain accurate records of IT assets, including serial numbers and assigned user information.
  • Deployment and Tracking: Process requests for IT hardware, assist with deployment, and track hardware location changes.
  • Audits and Physical Inventories: Conduct regular audits and physical inventories to ensure accurate accounting of assets.
  • Asset Disposal: Coordinate the return or disposal of surplus or retired IT hardware.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on asset status, compliance, and cost savings.
  • Technical Support: Provide support for imaging new equipment (desktops and laptops) and coordinate repairs with vendors 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is often preferred.
  • Bonus having ServiceNow platform Experience
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in (Ideally: IT asset management) Warehouse inventory management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of IT asset management software, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
