Responsabilities:

As an IT Application Owner (ITAO), you will act as the custodian of critical applications, ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards throughout the application lifecycle. You will be the single point of contact for audits and governance, driving operational resilience and risk management.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of IT Application Owners, fostering a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure that all assigned applications comply fully with security controls, regulatory requirements, and internal IT policies, while driving timely remediation of outstanding tasks and proactively escalating risks with clear recovery plans.

  • Take full ownership of end-to-end application governance, including lifecycle management, documentation, strategic planning, audit readiness, and comprehensive risk management.

  • Oversee operational stability and performance by monitoring reliability, availability, and security posture, coordinating with infrastructure and vendor teams to resolve incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and implement enhancements.

  • Act as the primary liaison for business stakeholders and external vendors, translating business priorities into technical requirements, managing service-level agreements, and ensuring alignment between IT deliverables and organizational objectives.

Skills:

  • Strong team Leadership and Coordination expertise.

  • You have hands on experience in planning complex IT releases, and you have strong experiences with assessments regarding risk, complaints and audit.

  • You have a good understanding of the latest technologies, and programming languages.

  • Strong Stakeholder communication.

  • University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, covering risk assessment and the ability to discuss compliance related matters with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • You are good team player with a passion for technology and engineering and can communicate fluently in English, French and Dutch
